What will Mastering AI in AEC cost?

Dear Friends - Welcome to the 9th edition of the Mastering AI in AEC waitlist! (For earlier versions, please see the end of this email.)
Last week, I talked about the skills you'll gain after finishing the course, and in this email, I’m publishing the price of the course and why I decided on exactly that price.
So, let’s get right into it:
1. The Content
First of all, it's important to know what will be taught inside Mastering AI in AEC course.
I outlined this in a previous email, but what the gist of the course will be is this:
Mastering AI in AEC is a comprehensive digital course with the aim to serve as a fundamental AI in AEC base, offering both theoretical and practical AI skills and solutions for all interested AEC professionals.
You can think of it as AI in AEC 101 - a digital course helping you go from zero (or some AI knowledge) to AI superhero in a span of a few hours.
If you ask me who is the course aimed for, I'll say that it's for all interested AEC professionals - architects, designers, engineers, constructors, BIM people, consultants, etc, etc. - basically anyone working in the AEC.
Again, as long as they are interested.
Why do I focus on the 'interested' part?
Because the course will teach you fundamental AI knowledge, but the skills you could gain will only come from trying out different AI tools, working with AI, and implementing it in your work and company - and this part is up to you.
Don't worry - I will offer guidance - but you will need to apply what you learn to truly master AI.
2. The Movement
Even though I launched 'a company' two and half months ago, it's now clear to me that I somehow also helped boost the AI in AEC 'movement'.
This is the movement of AEC professionals who know that in 2024, we can do better - we shouldn't be dependent on 20th century technology to solve 21st century problems.
Moreover, this movement focuses on the global impact our dear AEC industry has.
After all, there's so many buildings to build while keeping them all net-zero.
It sounds impossible and I believe that it is - unless we start using newer and better technology to help us out!
While I'm aware that technology isn't the whole solution to our global problems - I'm certain that it's an integral part of it.
Because of the global impact the AEC industry has, I started the company with a global mindset.
This means to cater to the world as a whole in my offerings, including with sharing knowledge online and assisting people from all over the world.
And that's exactly why I'm introducing PPP - Purchasing Power Parity - into the pricing of the course.
This means that those AEC professionals in low income countries will be offered to pay a lower amount for the course.
Why?
Because for some of us, the price of the course might represent a few hours' work, while for others it's a whole month's salary.
The PPP will be active on launch day and the codes will show up only if the country you're accessing the AI in AEC website from is in the low-income category based on GDP.
In my belief - this is the fairest option out there for everyone - and it'll help teach everyone in the world AI in AEC skills and knowledge.
And even if you don't get any 'lower pricing option', I assure you you're getting a bargain deal regardless - and more on why below.
3. The Price
To my knowledge, there is nothing like the Mastering AI in AEC course out on the market.
Sure, there might be some seemingly similar courses, and after I checked all I could find, I think those courses aim to solve the same problems as I do.
I'm aiming to assist the AEC professionals from all over the world to learn, implement, and develop AI in their work and their companies.
Why am I aiming at the whole world?
Because I believe that meaningful change only happens at scale.
This is why I can't price the Mastering AI in AEC course at more than 31,000€ or even for 1000€ - with most of 'other options' being between these numbers (those are real numbers some are asking for their courses by the way).
I'm certain the courses priced like these have their reasons for that - but the large majority of people can't afford those prices.
And exactly because of that - the globality and scale I'm aiming for - is why this first edition of the Mastering AI in AEC course will only cost 297€.
Pricing it here almost pains me a bit, because I know the contents are much more valuable, but pricing it higher for the first edition doesn't feel right to me.
After all, it's my first product and many of you might not be sure if it's of high quality.
Moreover, every following course edition will only be improved with the feedback I get - which is why I'll also be increasing the price of the following editions.
I spent a lot of time thinking about the price - how to position it to still be able to run my business successfully, while the course being relatively affordable to most - and in the end I went with my gut feeling that right now, this is the right price for the right value.
And this is why I believe that the price of 297€ is the perfect one for the start - both for you to be able to get a great deal as someone who understand the power of AI, but also for me to get enough of a support for the months I spent working on the course - and the upcoming months where I plan to grow the company and help even more AEC professionals.
Finally, because I'm a believer in honesty, integrity, and long-term relationships - there will be a risk-free period where you will be able to get a refund of the course if it's not right for you.
So, in my mind, there's very little to lose by buying the course now, and so much to gain - with this, of course, being for you to decide on.
With that said, I hope you'll appreciate my honesty and openness about my work.
Running a business is no easy feat because you don't get a manual on how to do it right.
And that's why I decided to run it with my own values first, which is why I'm being transparent about the whole process with you.
